Welcome to Canadian Politics Online, the first curriculum based e-textbook of its kind on Canadian government and politics.

CPO is an information-based web tool that will make understanding Canada - its structure and its politics - an exciting experience. For the educator, this book simplifies teaching as it contains the kind of up-to-date student activities that will allow the teacher to assess their pupils' progress. The teacher will act as a facilitator for the learning that students will draw out of this book, while engaging students in discussions about the country and the world within which they live.

Canadian Politics Online is now available as an interactive platform where users can comment, contribute and collaborate.

CPO contains a fully indexed and searchable digital textbook with a slate of supporting textual, image and AV resources and a comprehensive glossary. Please note that institutions and schools must obtain a license from Northern Blue Publishing to use CPO as a teaching resource.

As school boards and districts try to cut schoolbook costs, many are experimenting with electronic learning. E-books like Canadian Politics Online are decidedly less expensive than the current cost of hardcover textbooks. Please click How to Order for information on licensing.
